Francesco De Stefano
Francesco De Stefano is currently working on his doctorate at the Chair for Humanities at the University of Macerata in Italy, where he has already completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Philosophy. His academic interests lie principally in moral philosophy and business ethics. Within the framework of the Eureka Scholarship Programme for Innovation, Francesco is writing his dissertation on “The Humanistic Knowledge Enterprise: Ethical-economical foundations and practical applications. The case study of Loccioni Group”. The project shows how traditional and often hierarchical forms of organization within the economy are replaceable by so-called ethical “cultures of competence”.
De Stefano conducted research for his dissertation at the Weltethos-Institut (Global Ethic Institute) from September 2014 to March 2015.
