Dr. Christian Lautermann

Profile

Dr. Christian Lautermann studied social sciences and economics with a focus on ecology in Saarbrücken, Siena and Oldenburg. He was awarded his doctorate for a dissertation on the socio-theoretical and entrepreneurial foundations of a concept of socially oriented entrepreneurship under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Reinhard Pfriem at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.

Since then, Lautermann has worked for the EnGeno energy change project and taught Business Administration at the University of Oldenburg. He continues to publish research in the fields of corporate ethics, CSR and sustainability management with an emphasis on virtue ethics and alternative economic systems.

Since the summer of 2014, Dr. Lautermann has taught introductory courses on economic and corporate ethics at the Weltethos-Institut (Global Ethic Institute).
